Hi, I'm Eric, a licensed massage therapist residing in Cavendish VT, where I raise my children and live close to the land. In addition to massage I develop/maintain local hiking trails and run a small farm which produces organic fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, and duck eggs.
My massage studio is based out of my home (although I do do house calls, see below), and my style of massage is a mix of Swedish, deep tissue and positional therapies, with just a hint of light-touch cranio-sacral.
Approach
To heal, the body needs two things: awareness, and peace. By highlighting it's issues through touch and maintaining calm awareness through the breath, tension will dissolve, tight muscles will release, and the body's natural healing process can begin to unfold. Each session, I aim to send every client off with measurable results and improved well being, as well as some insight in to how these improvements can be maintained.
Remember: the body is always listening to our thoughts and beliefs, and making them manifest. Stress, anxiety and fear are natural to encounter, it's only when we hold those stories at length that our bodies suffer. Through relaxation, attention and particularly IN-tention, anyone can write a new story for their body back to health and wellness.

HOUSECALLS
In addition to working in my home studio, I also perform housecalls! If you are within a 20 mile radius of Cavendish VT, a $25 surcharge applies...further than that and the cost goes up.

DISCOUNTS
I'm always looking to help my community, so I offer a blanket 10% discount to any VT resident.
Additionally, I know massage can be expensive for most regular people, so I do sliding scale payments according to a client's ability to pay. Simply reach out and explain your situation when booking for consideration.
